Christie Scott has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 36 years. She received her undergraduate degree in speech and hearing sciences and Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Ohio University. Christie is licensed through the Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. For 14 years, Christie served as director of Middleburg Early Education Center, a preschool that serves children with special needs as well as typically developing children. Christie has also been the supervisor of the Freedlander Speech and Hearing Clinic at the College of Wooster. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist at Middleburg Early Education Center, in private practice, in clinical and hospital settings and in the public schools. She especially enjoys preschool age children, but loves working with children of all ages.
Christie likes to cook, read, knit, sail, and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren She has two grown sons, and is pet mom to two cats.
